According to Meiland, a "good" college teacher presents information in the following way. A good college teacher presents some information, in the sense of "what is currently believed." They are concerned not merely not with imparting information but also, and mainly, to present and examine the basis on which this information is or should be believed. they do this because they want this material to be believed on the basis of reason rather than on the basis of authority.
I agree with thir opinion. Citical thinking is very important because this age is an information society. Many information fall into our hands by a television, a newspaper, Internet and so on. So, we have to discern good information and bad information. A Television broadcasted information of a lie in last three years. A lot of TV viewer believed this information, and they bought many natto. Natto is sold out at many supermarkets. Enterprise of natto made an extensive order them. But a large quantity of the natto that they ordered in have remained unsold because the lie is out. We do not have to set such as a problem. For that reason we must have critical thinking.
